Developed between May 1942 and May 1943. I only have 38 games in T14 73% wr, almost 900 avg dmg , but ive found it to be a very mobile heavy with great armor. The T14's armor slope isn't extreme enough on the front or the sides to account for so many non-pens. Shots will bounce off the front of your turret all the time, and cannot be penetrated reliably. World of Tanks T14 Guide by skorpion777 Heres your pointers for armor and the brief overview. Maybe you should try another one thats closer to your play style as the t14 is as close to op with the new mm as you can get. Think of it as sort of a Trainer T34. Today i'll be reviewing the Tier V American Heavy the T14. The Assault Tank T14 was a joint project between the United States and the United Kingdom. If you enjoy shooting tanks, you will get frustrated.
Then, as time went on, more and more Tier V heavies were introduced and more and more people new where to shoot it, greatly reducing it's effectiveness in battle. However, mass production was canceled, and T14 never became more than an experimental vehicle. They are honestly totally different. The frontal hull has a large weak spot with the machine gun port being 64mm effective. This, combined with the T14s great gun depression, makes it a great hull down tank. The gun This is the main weakness of the T14, the shoddy gun.
Of course, this is my opinion. If you saved up promo gold save it for premium. Avoid the well angled part on the top of the rear hull since it is stronger than it appears. Unfortunately for the T14, it has a glaring machine gun weakspot on the front that has very weak armour and is very easy to hit. World of Tanks T14 Weak Spots Rear View The rear of the T14 is mostly weak with the rear hull being below 99mm effective armor.
The Lowe seems to be the opposite, comparitively soft but with a decent gun. The poor accuracy means that you can't snipe, the poor aim time reduces the effectiveness of peekabooming and the low pen prohibits one on one fights. Top match heavies are expected to normally counter the opponent's top heavies, and the T14 has more difficulty doing that than any other tier 5 heavy. With the cupola being one of the strongest areas on the T14 it can be a valuable asset if enemies do not know to shoot elsewhere. If there are any doubts in your mind, remember, the price is cheap, and you will have a good week at least to observe.
From the side, the T14 does not look good on paper, the strip of armour along the top of the side only has 76mm of effective armour and the tracks have 103mm of effective armour if the tracks are hit. So I just got the Exclesior and I am 5-0 in it so far with every game doing right around 1500 damage and 1 game doing over 2000, Its not a large sample size I get it but its pretty darn good right out of the shoot for me. So what's your alls opinion on it. This heavy tank was one of the first premiums in the game, and was the reward given to players who played the beta, at that point in time, the T14 was the king of Tier Vs, with everyone driving one and no-one knowing where to shoot it this tank could dominate battles. Learning how to harness the armor angles is the key to mastering playing the T14. Moving up to the turret you find excellent armor on the cupola and turret front. It simply struggles to go 1v1 versus any of the other tier 5 heavies.
Keep those repair kit consumables handy people. . For many tier 3-5 tanks penetrating these areas can be hard to pull off every time. This tank has been power creeped to death. That was my impression of it too. Will be pretty worthless against tier 7s though. It's a generic tier 5 premium.
We are now going to move onto the gun. It also teaches you the 'Hull down' playstyle that many of the high tier American tanks use. We are passionate about WoT and want to make sure that the game is its best in every form. This is essentially due to the T14's weak penetration on its gun. If your going to buy gold you may as well buy a T8 premium tank.
