The older ones we've previously seen were treated like domesticated livestock. Even myself who played all the game series aside from the latest one still do not understand the game fully. The only two good points that I can see pun intended are 1. The setting is horrifying enough, white-gray foggy outside scenes follow rust-bloody shots of the inner side of the most scary and mysterious city. I don't really know why. I will literally flip out.
The script writer generally added horror elements that have no connection to the general plot, and those elements are really cliché to the extreme an Indian cemetery? Cuando despierta, Sharon ha desaparecido y Rose en la entrada al desierto, la fabulosa ciudad de Silent Hill. Sure it is set in the same place and some situations are repeated but it doesn't continue the flow of the first, nor does it follow any of the momentum. Sharon Da Silva believes that she is on the run with her adoptive father because he killed a man in self-defense when she was young. Adelaide Clemens was later cast in the role with the original actress, Jodelle Ferland who played Cheryl in the first film, not even being asked. It was written and directed by Michael J.
And I am talking not only from the fans of the video games and the first movie. I absolutely love the first Silent Hill film. This is to be expected from a game-to-movie genre. The characters take a while to actually enter Silent Hill, and when they do the film quickly devolves from creepy moments to explaining the story, which is not particularly compelling. If you wanna see, be my guest.
But with it being said that I am a fan of the game, it impressed me greatly. Kit Harington is by far the weakest link in the cast in his awkward portrayal of a high-school aged Vincent. I went into Silent Hill Revelation with high expectations. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever in a place known as Silent Hill. This one had some great visuals, the environments were great to look at. The acting was decent, and I thought the lead was reasonably good. Genre : Adventure, Drama, Horror Rating : 5.
It was directed and written by Michael J Bassett. Tatkala bertahun-tahun, mereka hidup berpindah-pindah serta berganti identitas untuk menyelamatkan diri dari teror sama yang mereka alami lalu. Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. Movies that just borrow elements from their source with no concern for the fan base. Bersama pertolongan dari sohib baru di sekolahnya Vincent Kit Harrington yang seperti menaruh misteri sendiri berkaitan ruangan terkutuk tersebut, Heather seterusnya kembali ke Silent Hill. Although it is a cash-in, I respect the fact that they went to the trouble to film it in 3D instead of using a post-production job.
The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever in a place known as Silent Hill. Right before the soundtrack was due to be released, the physical version of the album was cancelled and instead only a digital version was ever released. Gamefan view aside, the movie itself is generally good. When characters drop off in this rushed sequel, you just don't care. Alessa, who is a very important character in the game version, has surprisingly limited role.
The film was overly short, and it seemed as though this was the central problem. First off, this movie isn't so terrible as I'm making it seem. As an avid Silent Hill fan, I was extremely excited for a sequel to Christophe Gans' 2006 film. If you're in the market for an entertaining horror film this Halloween, there are worse ways to spend your money. If you're looking to at least get a decent Silent Hill experience, watch the film.
Obviously, the film makers had to work within the context of the original while trying to tie it into the third game, but so much of the film was devoted to characters explaining the plot that it made the film feel somewhat dull. If you decide to see this film, I'd recommend shelling out the extra few bucks to see it in 3D, as I feel it earns the up-charge. Carrie-Anne Moss and Kit Harington in particularly do a very poor job of delivering their lines, and are completely unconvincing. She soon discovers that the people of the alternate dimension town want her back. She looks exactly like Heather did in the game and delivers a performance that makes Heather into a much more likable character. Though my only complain is the run time of the film.
